Truth Seekers

At Restore, we are relentless truth seekers. We crave truth. We pursue it. We ask questions—especially the difficult ones. Jesus compared the kingdom of heaven to treasure hidden in a field. We believe truth is worth searching for, studying for, praying over, and sometimes wrestling with. We are not afraid to dig. Our foundation is Jesus Christ. His life, His teachings, His character, and His mission are central to everything we study. We search Scripture carefully, examine historical and cultural context, discuss different theological perspectives, and challenge ideas that have been repeated for generations without question. Not because we believe Restore has all the answers. We don't. But we refuse to stop asking questions simply because someone tells us, “That's just what we've always believed.” At Restore, conversations can continue for hours. We discuss. We debate. We study. We go back to Scripture. We challenge each other—and sometimes, we change our minds. In that pursuit, we often rediscover biblical principles that have been overlooked, misunderstood, dismissed, or buried beneath generations of religious tradition. We do not seek hidden knowledge. We seek overlooked truth. We also do not use “agree to disagree” as an excuse to stop searching. Disagreement does not have to divide us, but it should challenge us to dig deeper. We believe truth is worth pursuing with humility, patience, and the willingness to admit when we may have been wrong. Our foundation remains clear: God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. Power to stand against darkness and carry light into the world. Love that reflects the character of God. And a sound mind capable of discipline, discernment, and self-control. That is what we pursue. That is what we teach. That is how we strive to live.
