Retreat 2026
Separate to Elevate
This retreat brought us to the beautiful backcountry of North Carolina for five days of faith, adventure, fellowship, and spiritual growth. Our focus was simple but challenging:
How can we further separate ourselves from the world so that we can be elevated with God in everything we do?
Through teaching, worship, teamwork and bonding exercises, and intentional conversations, we challenged one another to think deeper about our faith and what it means to truly live set apart.
We climbed Hanging Rock Mountain, where we preached the Gospel from the summit to the public and watched as people gathered to listen.
We stepped into another world at the Moldovian Village, being captivated at the thought that people actually made the choices, and sacrifice to live a life separated, literally from the world. in honor to God.
We spent our final day together floating down a natural “lazy river.” Enjoying the beautiful mountains of Northern North Carolina.
Between the adventure, laughter, challenges, and unforgettable moments were opportunities to strengthen relationships with one another and, most importantly, with God.
We came to North Carolina to Separate to Elevate—and returned home challenged to live it.
