A Retreat to Remember

Some retreats are relaxing. Some are adventurous. And then there are the ones that mark a moment in your life that you never forget.

Our 2025 retreat was one of those moments.

For three days, we stepped away from the noise of everyday life and entered a place where God moved in powerful and unexpected ways. Walls came down. Long held burdens were surrendered. Generational strongholds that had followed families for decades were confronted through prayer, faith, and obedience. Chains that once seemed impossible to break no longer had the final say.

One of the most powerful moments of the retreat came when four members of our community publicly declared their faith through baptism. Standing together in the water, surrounded by brothers and sisters in Christ, they left behind an old chapter and stepped into a new one. It was a reminder that God is still transforming lives today.

Between worship, prayer, teaching, and fellowship, we also experienced the beauty of God’s creation firsthand. Our group embarked on a breathtaking mountain hike that challenged our bodies, refreshed our minds, and reminded us of the majesty of the One who created it all. Every step seemed to draw us further away from the distractions of the world and closer to the presence of God.

Looking back, it is difficult to put everything that happened into words. The laughter around the fire. The tears of healing. The conversations that lasted late into the night. The freedom that many experienced for the first time in years.

This was more than a retreat. It was a reminder that when people intentionally seek God, He faithfully meets them there.
